Bust Dime....Opinions on grade?<<new pics..dipped>>

Just curiuos what this might grade, (I'm guessing vf20)also does this coin need a dip to clean it up?

VF20, JR6. Splotchy toning is unattractive , so a dip couldn't hurt.

Agreed, low VF and high ugly factor...but then again with a dip it would look odd being white and VF bit of a dilema there. VF coin that old should have a considerable amount of gunk on it, just a shame that this one's gunk is somewhat unattractive.

Dipping the coin really didn't do that much. The splotchyness is still there. Tthe camera is really bringing out the colors, but to the naked eye it really isn't that bad...
The coin was off Ebay for $20 delivered. The seller had a real bad pic and I took a chance that it might be a keeper....

My picture taking really needs some help...

Most of the time, pictures are bad for a reason. If it's a coin that interests me, I contact the seller and ask for a better pic. If I don't get it, I don't bid.

I can understand what you said. The reason I took a shot on the coin was the seller was a first time coin seller(from looking at his feedbacks), took a shot, oh well.
