Considering the prices he gets for his AT work, I guess he figures he'll need to purchase lots of insurance for his PCGS score.

This Seller's craft is two sided 'color'. The Morgan featured is one sided. I don't believe it is his work and is authentically toned.

It got to about $350 last week and ended with reserve not being met. Wonder if he lowered it.

  • S&H from alaska would be all of about $4.25 with insurance. Just how do you justify $18.00 S&H. That alone would have made me look somewhere else.

That coin looks like crap to me.... and for $18, you'd think he could spring for something besides first class shipping... image

  • I'm suprised it got through PCGS. Looks like a sodium sulfite and light heat job rather than normal bag toning progession

from the edges of the coin.

I was thinking about on this one last night from him for a cheap toned addition toned dime but the toning looked suspicious even though it was slabbed. What do you think?

The color has been enhanced in an image editing program on the obverse. Look at the color of the plastic surrounding the coin vs. the reverse. He shoud at least mask the plastic around the coin when he plays his games with the pictures!

Here's my guess what the coin really looks like:

I don't see blantant AT. Questionable at best. The only one I'd say AT on is the one stman linked.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

His response to the $18 shipping.

    Hi there,
Sorry I think make a mistake, but people will adjust their bid's amount with it.
You have a good night now!

Thing are smoe sellers who just multiply the $1.30 per $50 increment times the number of $50 increments in the final price to screw the unwary. There is NO WAY it shud cost $15 to insure that thing. You can send it registered for $10. I wonder if all sellers think that the buyers are gullible and stoopid?

The natural progression of colors appears to be missing. GT, or genuine toning, doesn't "splish splash" all over a coin.

The roosie is real -- end roll toning.

Seems only Bajjerfan caught the strange auction provision that the coin couldn't be returned if it changed colors. That is the oddest auction condition I have ever seen.

Apparently thats a common condition of acceptance for return on the part of this seller.

I sent the seller two questions. After reveiwing his other listings it appeared the $18 mite have been a typo so I sent a comment about that. The line that the ins would be at least $15 was his response to that.

    first question:
please explain how it can cost $18 to ship this coin. I can mail one PCGS slabbed Morgan in a padded envelope from Iowa to anywhere in the lower 48 by first class for less than $2 and I know it won't cost $16 to insure that.

    first response:

    second question:
sorry looks like your $18 S&H for this item is probly a typo

    second response:
Yes you are right, but the insurance will over $15.00.
