I got my goodies!

As a couple of you know I was debating on buying one of those "lots" on ebay last week. Well, I waited and went ahead and bought one. I got my coins last night and am pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting to get anything great, but I did get a BU 1969 Kennedy 50cent and a proof 1970 S Roosevelt. I also got a 1963 Franklin 50 cent that looks great. There are some other good ones, but those I think are the top 3. I am happy with what I got, so I just wanted to share that!

No, I'm working on it. For one, my computer has been reformatted, so I need to reinstall the printer to try and scan them, or....take regular pics. But I'm no genius when it comes to electronics and I can't get my digital camera to focus right on them.

Do you have the macro feature enabled? It's usually indicated by a tulip-like symbol. Turn it on and it should allow you to get much better focus of coins. I also like to disable flash, since it washes out the image considerably. Natural light from an open window seems to be best.

I'll have to fiddle with it. The batteries are charging right now. I tried to take some pics earlier but it died!
