  • It depends... a few coins I'll take out once a week or so... others don't make it out as often... but, I do look at the pictures I've taken quite a bit image

Mine are right next to my computer I take some out and look at them almost every night. If I'm not looking at them I'm putting them in a database or reading this forum.

Eh, the whole collection? It hasn't been in one place in a couple years.

It's been 7 months since I looked at my collection. It's locked away in a safe deposit box in the US. Now I only have a few recent purchases to keep me going.

Maybe 3 or 4 times per week. Mostly look at the Morgans or SAEs though. Usually skip over the cents through 1/2 dollars.

Pull out the Dansco's pretty often, thinking which will be next to be BB by PCGS! image

Pull the blue PCGS boxes less frequently, maybe twice a month, somethimes more if I am thinking of upgrading a set.image

  • Once a month or so. I like to view them more often than not but it is best not to move 'em around so much.

Which reminds me; "do your coins knock your socks off like they used to"? If they don't would you consider selling them?

My collection resides separated in several different locations. So once a year I get them all together to play.

Variably, depends on how much photo activity I have going on. I look at pictures on the computer otherwise.

  • Mostly once a week or so.

I still have the same feeling about every coin I own. I get a great feeling from my pennies and my dollars or halfs. All are wonderful.

    I just love coins

I make it to the safety deposit box at least once a week.

I'm on a first name basis with all at my bank. I think I spend as much time there as the loan officers.

I have about 75% of my coins scanned, so we get to spend quality time together.

Great question. I guess I pull the entire collection out maybe 3 times a year, since its sort of a hassle.

But I do review parts of it on a monthly basis, usually only the more recently acquired material...

Hmmm, glad you reminded me. I do have a coin collection at the bank in a SDB. Haven't seen em in months. I need to fetch my Morgans and bring home for a new photo session. image

Fatman, that's some display you have there. image

not my whole collection, but some days i like to pull out, say, the slq album & look through it, other days the bust halves, & other days the jefferson nickels. i'd say some 5 times a week i pull out an album & browse it, but a lot of my collection is at the safety deposit box image.

    Maybe once a month.

  • Hello all,

My "main" collection ~once a year (They're in original packaging, so I don't like to disturb them often).

I also have some of my collection on display (around the house) and some "fun" coins at the office, so I can see them every day.

I enjoy my collection more every day & would not sell them, but I have been known to give a coin or two away to someone as interested in the hobby as me. Not often though! image
