Whattya think? I think I like it better than my previous favorite, the Connecticut one.

I hope the Arizona quarter has the Barringer Meteor Crater on it. That'd be neat.

I have trying for years to get my dad to buy a few real buffalo to raise in addition to cattle but to no avail. Near where I grew up, Ted Turner is and has been buying up as much land as he can so that he can raise Buffalo. I understand that he is buying land in other places in the U.S. to do the same. He even has a chain of restaurants called Ted's Montana Grill.
For the 2005 designs, I half-heartedly endorse California.
California: that bird is about to peck out Mr. Muir's eyes!
Kansas: a lovesick buffalo?
West Virginia: a bridge so you can drive on by?
Oregon: a big hole in the ground.
Minnesota: the land of 10000 lakes looks like a big solid rock ready to drop in the lake.
<< <i>I am from Kansas so I am partial to it especially with a Buff on the back.

Turner has a huge ranch where I live (in Montana) complete with Buffalo running all over plus is a large land owner in New Mexico (maybe the biggest). I would like to see him ran out of the state.
As for bison, we also have the natural kind running around. We should have been able to hunt them but the low life slime that was just elected govenor has killed the hunt.

Where do you live in Montana? I grew up (18 years) in Darby.

LOL
I'd give you the world, just because...
Speak to me of loved ones, favorite places and things, loves lost and gained, tears shed for joy and sorrow, of when I see the sparkle in your eye ...
and the blackness when the dream dies, of lovers, fools, adventurers and kings while I sip my wine and contemplate the Chi.

Have you ever been to Crater Lake National Park ? The Lake is a marvel to look at. The color just blows you away.
The surrounding area is some of the most awesome woodlands you could ever see.

...and buffalo wings
I'm from the Rush Limbaugh school of conservation: If you love animals, eat them. When is the last time you saw a cow or a chicken on the endangered species list?
Buffalo is becoming a popular meat. That's good news for the species!
Yum!

Oregon is Crater Lake - a pretty cool spot on this Earth. It's got pristine deep blue water

This is funny and stupid at the same time. The new govenor (who is not anti-gun) stopped the buffalo hunt (10 whole tags were being issued). He did not stop the shooting of buffalo. This will still be done by wardens as it has been every other year since our last hunt. It has nothing to do with slaughtering defenseless animals, but with preserving our states economic backbone.
I'm surprized it doesn't have an outline of the state with it. You know, Kansas, the rectangular state with one bite out of the corner.

Anyway, the New River Gorge Bridge is beautiful; especially from Hawks Nest Lookout during the fall. The bridge is where they hold Bridge Day - the only Legal Base Jump! Check out Bridge Day
Unfortunatly, I knew a guy who commited suicide off of the bridge. That is a long 876 feet..
