I know of one: Laura (Legend).
You might not like her style on here, but when she works with you, she really goes out of her way.

Met Andy at an out-of-state show. I knew who he was, but he didn't know me at all and we had never done business. Selected a coin I liked at $2200. Didn't have enough cash on me and left my checkbook at the hotel. He took $200 cash, gave me the coin, and told me to send the money to him when I got home in a couple of days. I was pretty impressed at that ... must be my honest face.

Actually, I've rarely bought a coin that couldn't be paid for with a trip to the ATM, so that probably explains it.
Frankly, I'm more comfortable if I can pay up when I take possession.

I'm with you there too. In fact, when I signed up with a couple of online auction houses (Heritage and David Lawrence), I made sure I bought out of their inventory before I tried to bid. Just seemed appropriate to "prove" myself before I asked them to trust me!
I'd probably be uncomfortable being "given" a coin before I paid as well.
Like MOC, though my transactions are perhaps smaller in number and size, whenever I make a sale to an established forum member, I always send the coin immediately (before payment is received) and on approval (sight-seen basis).
There is a concurrent thread in which two members are having trouble getting this type of service, but frankly, it is probably the rule rather than the exception.
