    You are asking about the 1836 Reeded edge half dollar, right?

    Well you said you had a picture, but I don't see one. It's hard to estimate the value of higher grade coins from a picture. Without a picture we are dead in the water.

    OPPS! Lettered Edge. - That's a common coin. Chances are its worth from $25 to $300. It's worth more if it's really Mint State or a better variety.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
