2005 Proof Quarter Sets received

I ordered some 2005 Proof Quarter sets from the mints webpage on Friday morning.

They were in my mailbox when I got home from work this evening. That's pretty good
service.

    Darn! That is fast.

Well I guess we know that like the 2005 silver ealges, these 2005 dated coins were probably made in 2004. image Getting the coins struck and packaged this fast is a bit incredible.

I didn't order any as I figured I'd wait and get mine that are included in the proof set. The joke would be on me and others I'm sure if the mint didn't include the quarters in the proof sets. Never know what's up their sleeve. image

Yet the 2004 nickel sets are back-ordered. Maybe they'll be struck in 2005. image

I am on the subscription program for 3 sets. Just got them today (1/18). They are really nice designs this year IMO.

I got mine today too. They look nice but the buffalo looks lost in the middle of nothingness. They could have made it bigger. It doesn't look as tiny in the photo as in real life.

The designs are great this year. Kudos to Oregon, West Virginia and Kansas. There's hope for this series!
