Does anybody have opinions about the grading accuracy of old ANA/Anacs holders for Morgans?

I picked this 8TF morgan tonight- it's in an old ANA holder. The only coins I've gotten in these holders before have been a couple of nice cameo franklins. With the franklins, I felt that the grading was pretty conservative. How do you feel they did with morgans??

i'd say for that particular coin, the grade is plenty accurate.

I didn't buy this morgan because I thought it would upgrade somewhere (and personally, I don't know how anyone could really grade a morgan accurately using those photos ) - but I just wanted to know if people thought the grading at the ANA at that time was tight/loose/mixed, whatever..... anybody else have experience with those holders??

I tend to purchase Morgans from this era of ANA/ANACS because of the nice toning patterns I usually see in these slabs and the tight grading. I have yet to be disappointed by a Morgan in one of these slabs. I'm picky, but I've been happy with my purchases. I do not plan to resubmit them either. I kind of like the older smaller slabs.

I recently purchased a few of these slabs. I received what I thought
was a middle-of-the-road 64 in a 64 slab:

and a couple of Peace $s in MS-65 slabs (one was a little low end but
still 65 and the other a high end 65). Both of these are out for cross-over attempts:

I'm happy with both purchases and I agree that you tend to get nice toned
coins in these.
