What's the quickest you ever snagged a coin off eBay?

In relation to the amount of time it was listed? I think my quickest was 2 hours after it was up.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

2 hours for me, too. BIN'd an 1822 quarter in VF.

From a sellers standpoint. I was listing 5 coins on e-bay one at a time, and by the time I finished listing them, the second coin I placed was bought by a BIN buyer. Less than 30 minutes.

I've bought a couple that were the first coin on top when I sort by "most recently listed", so depending on what the lag time is between listing and going "live" on-line, that could be a little as just a few minutes.
    When in doubt, don't.
  • 1-2 minutes. Sellers I have dealt with before have told me when they were going to list sample slabs on ebay and they used the automatic lister...6:00...6:15....6:30 etc. I just watched the listings are they popped up and hit the BIN.image

Wonder why the seller dint just offer yu a good deal instead of paying listing and final value fees to eBay.image

  • Beats me. You would think they wouldn't put a BIN either.

I happened to catch a favorite seller ofmine listing items one night, and I found one of his listings, hit the buy it now, and paid for it via PayPal within 20 mintes of his creating the listing. His feedbck for me called it his fastest transaction ever.

I think Marty and Russ know when the seller hits the submit button on proof sets.

I have checked Ebay for the coins I collect, while checking the list I have hit the refresh tab to have the page refresh and show the newest additions. I have made a BIN within seconds of seeing coins that was only listed as I hit the refresh, that wasn't listed three seconds prior. After I make the purchase I have gone and looked to see the counter at 1...that would be me!

About as fast as Tyler was refreshing the list when up popped what I wanted. With a BIN total deal with payment completed in less than five minutes. One of those modern Kennedy's I like.

I got a coin sold off eBay (no BIN listed for me to hit) within about 15 minutes of it being posted image
