Public Service Announcement re: lower grade Dahlonega coins available at FUN

From time to time, several board members have mentioned publicly and privately that they would like to acquire a Dahlonega coin for their collections. Mid-grade coins are expensive and high grade coins are very expensive, and as a result, there are probably a number of collectors who want one but never get to own one.
I have been in touch with the Gold Rush Gallery, my source for mid-grade Dahlonega coins, and they have recently acquired a sizable collection of lower grade pieces (VG-VF), some in PCGS "Rattler" holders, some raw. I have requested a couple of dates that I need for my set, but there are at least a dozen or more remaining, and these will be available at the Gold Rush Gallery table at FUN. If you are interested in acquiring a single Dahlonega piece for your collection, I think this would be an excellent opportunity.
I have no economic interest in these coins (except that I will likely buy more of these coins if they do not sell!), so I thought it would be appropriate to post this here. If a consensus of board members find this thread to be inappropriate, I will delete it.
Edited to add: I was not asked to post this, but did so for the benefit of forum members, with permission granted by the Gold Rush Gallery.

for others.
Any way that we can know what dates are available in case we cannot make it to FUN? PS. I think the post is appropriate since you don't have any financial interest in the coins offered.

You could call the Gold Rush Gallery or have a friend or associate check them out at the show.
Kranky, if you are reading this thread, I just found my Terrible Towel!
Hey, I have hijacked my own thread!
Forum members, please do not take ALL the well-circulated Dahlonega coins so that I can buy more.

Robert - You are just a few years too young. My wife remembers the good ol days of the Pirates, Roberto Clemente, etc. Her parents used to let them miss school and go to the game on opening day.

I remember the '71 Series and went to Playoff and Series games in '79. Growing up in Pittsburgh in the 70's was a sports fan's dream.

No I do not believe so. It was my understanding that they had just aquired the lot the day before I met with them. They were still making their assessment of each coin and the set appeared intact.
