Anyone ever buy from Thomas Wagonner?

I was curious if anyone here had bought from Thomas Wagonner (not sure if I spelled the last name right)?

If so, how did your purchase turn out?

Thanks,

Robert

It's been years but I was very pleased with some AU's I bought. They were nice sliders.

Yes! I have bought from Thomas. Funny enough, his phone number is in my cell phone contacts list. He's a good guy who willing to tell ya like it is with any coin he sells. I've never had to return a coin to him yet. I always look forward to getting his next mailing (brochure).

Thanks for the replies! I will give him a try after the wife and I get our tax return back. I have also purchased very nice coins from a lot of forum members here.
  • I bought an semi key S mint Peace dollar he advertised as graded AU. I believe it was VF at best. Showed it to our coin club president who agreed it was not an AU. I sent it back. Mr. Waggoner returned my money very timely and wrote a personal note that the strike for that year was known for being weak. At least you know he stands by what he sells.
