Nice coin .. . nice toning.
DRUNNER
Voted 65......for what it's worth.
Camelot
I'm calling it atleast a ms65....
"Senorita HepKitty"
"I want a real cool Kitty from Hepcat City, to stay in step with me" - Bill Carter
A very nice one at that.
My first thought was 65, but in hand I feel the color and
the luster might just bring a 66.
So many of these have a lot of contact marks on the bear.
I feel the rev. might just swing the grade too.
It's hard to see contact marks from a straight on shot on this issue.
At an angle it might look different.
I love the coin.
I vote 64.
1. Incredibly bold strike. You can see every ripple in the water !
2. Gorgous natural toning, eye appeal
3. You said you bought it for yourself to celebrate winter. How better to do that than with a 66 ?
They call me "Pack the Ripper"
The voting is pretty close on this one, although I am always surprised that only 30 or so members participate in one of these polls. I thought there were more of us?
Anyway, I'll let it run a few more minutes while I photograph the slab and then will reveal NGC's grade

Cheers,

It's also the only naked-eye-visible hit on the entire coin
if this were a walker or a frankie, the coin would grade MS67+, easily
Of course, commems are graded a little tougher; they didn't get bagged, rolled, or circulated the way business-strike coins did.

Great polls, Baley.
congrats to those who said MS65!
those who said MS64 and MS63: Sell me your coins!
those who said MS66 and MS67: Wanna buy a coin?
thanks for playing

First Place Winner of the 2005 Rampage design contest!
there is no doubt in my mind that this coin would "cross" at 65 at pcgs.
However, would it be better to have it in a "new" pcgs holder, or an OLD ngc holder?
(those who know me, know it's staying put)
