The game to decide the TRUE power in the AFC,
and the game to decide which team other than the Steelers and Pats are for real ....

I'll take the Bolts in a blow-out ...

As a Jets fan I am really hoping the Colts win. If the Jets get the #5 seed, facing the Chargers in the first round would be a lot easier than going to Indy.
  • I heard many analysts say that the Bolts secondary is weak - 0 Manning TD's so far doesn't look weak to me.

It's been awhile since I've been able to watch the other LT on TV. In my opinion there is still no doubt he is the best running back in the league. Especially the moves he can make on that fast astro turf - Amazing!

    I was wrong.

Still think the Bolts are better than the Colts however,

    on a neural field ...

I would just LOVE to know why Marty S elected to punt in the fourth quarter after Brees was sacked at the Indy 36 (the one where he fumbled). Kaeding had EASILY made a 50 yard FG earlier in the game, and had kicked a 53 yarder earlier this season. This one would have been from 53 also. If he had gone for the FG and it was good, the Chargers would've been up by 11, making it a 2-score game for the Colts.

Instead, Marty decides to punt, and Scifres kicked it into the endzone, netting only 16 yardsimage

If he misses that's great starting field position for the Colts, even though he nailed the first one 53 is his season long and he's 50% from 50+. That's best reason I could come up with, I didn't like the call either. Plus, I would have rather seen the ball in Tomlinson's hands on 2nd and 3rd down also.

If you lead a team by 8 points with 3 minutes to go and don't win, then the other team was better that day regardless of where the game is. If you can "man up" when it counts you deserve to lose, regardless of all the excuses you can come up with. Indy had several opportunitie to score more points in the first half and they shot themselves in the foot. These game begin and end in the 4th quarter and in this case sometimes in overtime. If you had just turned on the last 4 minutes of this game and the overtime, you'd realize the best team stepped up when it mattered most. The rest is just history leading up to crunch time. image
