I'm not sure problem-free, at-least-close-to-original early type (1793-1807, roughly) will ever suffer a major decline, barring some kind of financial or economic calamity. There is just way too much pent up demand for the pieces that are out there.

I can't tell the future any better than anyone else.

The only thing that I will predict is that more collectors will influence prices positively, fewer will influence them negatively.

I encourage all collectors to continue to add to their collections, in all markets, higher, lower, or static, until they do not wish to collect anymore.

I voted for "moderns" simply because the "new" collectors will be going after what they "know" before they start spreading out to earlier issues.

All the same I think it will be a good year all across the board.
