I pay small businesses (coin firms and otherwise) by check. I usually have a relationship with them and do not want them to have to eat the 3% (or whatever) credit card charges. I pay larger companies with a credit card. There is usually no relationship, and I get 1% cash back at the end of each month

Credit card for everything, whenever possible, even coins (though some impose a 10K limit). The miles are great.

Credit card, it speeds up the process, since they do not have wait for the check to clear. Interestingly enough, I pay with AMEX which is left out from latest submission forms (it's on the old ones, of which I have only one left). I used AMEX on the new forms (I just wrote it in) and they did accept it.

Anything over $100K I write them a check, under that I pay in cash, sacs or SBA's. Don't worry all the rolls have been checked by me first. Wouldn't want Halperin ripping me.image

Like RYK, I always pay with credit card when dealing with 'non-personal' businesses (Gotta love the Cash Back) and via Check or PayPal Bank Transfer (If online) for auctions and any dealer transactions I wish to establish a relationship with.

  • Credit card -- 2% back for my son's education, and since I can check pending charges online, I know when my coins have arrived (since PCGS doesn't seem to send out e-mail notifications anymore).

Credit Card. Don't like to fly so I go for free gas.
  • I paid via credit card, but I dont think ill join again, I joined for the submissions and the silver eagle to put into a set, but then I noticed the silver eagle comes without a number to put in a set, so im not going to bother joining again.
