WHEN IS A DEAL A DEAL - THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY

I have just read a letter posted by someone saying I backed out of a deal. First of all, as many of you have surmised, there was no deal, there was TALK of a deal. I said I needed to THINK about the proposed trade for a FEW days. Well 2 things happened , I just got my coin back I am thinking about resubmitting it becuase of a lower grade on an expensive coin. 1901P morgan dollar, that would make a $1000 difference from AU to BU. He knew that. But that was not even the real problem, because I doubt that PCGS would upgrade it, though I cant see why it did not grade MS62.
The real problem was that, when I reread his original letter I thought I was getting 2 (two) MS63 coins from that person, and I realized just at the 11th hour that one of them was only an MS62. That was my fault, not his, so since i had written (from my first letter to him) I only wanted MS63 or higher, I asked him if we could switch out a coin or two for the MS62 coin. Whether , as some of you noticed, he may have been trying to take advantage of me. I dont know. I would not say for sure. Anyways, he started a thread about me, though he did not mention my name. The point of this is to tell my side of the story, and to let you know that any talk of a DEAL was finished in HIS mind, certainly not mine.
Yesterday I had another person back out on me on a trade, because he found someone was going to take his WHOLE lot not a partial lot, like I was only able to do. I said no big deal. I am glad he got out from under his unwanted coins and got other ones. I could reveal his name, and he would verify it, but I wont.
As for me I have had 3 successful transactions with people from the bulletin board, 2 buying and one selling. In those trades everyone was happy, and the coins I sold were RAW coins, and the person that bought them was very happy with how I graded them and is contemplating more purchases with me. I have never TRADED before so I asked him sincere questions, and he gave me answers back using words IN CAPITOL LETTERS and I started feeling uncomfortable with him. Until then , the talks had been going ok.
I wrote this letter because some people wanted the other side of the story, so here it is. I believe he was hoping to get others to side with him and eventually reveal my name to people and try to smear me. So I brought it out in the open and revealed myself.

Oh Lord! Just what I was afraid of.
Fellas, take it private. Here's what I posted on his thread.
No one has done anything wrong yet.
1. You still have not reached a difinitive agreement. Sounds like you need to get your agreement nailed down a little better. You sound like you are going off a little half co-cked, but I understand when a coin you really want is involved.
2. No need to post a thread about this and risk a private "non-problem" turning into a public problem. Communitcate directly with this other person and see if you can clear up the details.
I can assure you this will be my last post to this soon to be flame war.
I know he said he was just venting, but that kind of thread is intimidating to the one he's talking about.
It forces the other person to respond. Only bad things happen after that.
