I was shopping around and saw this bust half,thought the strike was great ,what do you all think?imageimage

    What's the give away?
    Is it the lines through the fields?
    The unusual detail and silvery appearance to the hair details?
    Or just the unnatural appreance of the coin?

    Looks like AU details, harshly cleaned...... The coin has too much of a bright, silvery look, and you can see the hairlines all over the coin- if you had it in hand, the hairlines would jump out at you when you looked at it in a good light source....

    When they look like Mom's silver teapot ready for it's next holiday polish, it's a tipoff for cleaned!image
