JadeRareCoin - A class Act!

Stopped at JadeRareCoin's shop on Thursday and left a few coins for Dennis to image for me - looked at a whole bunch of coins and then he took me to a great Italian Restaurant - then went over to my summer home on Lake Michigan to winterize it (gets cold here in Michigan in the winter image ) Dennis and his lovely wife came over for dinner and after the wine we decided no more coins, so today I again stopped at the coin store on my way home and we looked a few more coins and Dennis imaged a few of my toners - we had a great time and Dennis couldn't have been more generous with his time and excellent photography - I bought a few coins and have to say that Dennis is one of the nicest and most generous Dealers in this business. Thanks and compliments to "A class Act!" image

('Course he over-charged me for everything I bought! imageimage )

I like Dennis, too... even though my encounter with him didn't involve two meals image

Anyhoo, sounds like you guys had a great time, in spite of the lack of temperature image

PS- I doubt he overcharged you. Those coins probably had pedigrees image

Yeah, they were raw but he said they had "Worneb" pedigrees or some such thing - he's going to throw in the original catalogs - but funny thing, no pictures in the catalogs image - No problem, I'll just get them PCGS ceritified - there's some '"original" flips with the "Worneb" pedigree written in smudged pencil. image

Jade sold me an Eliasberg pedigreed bust half dime in an ANACS holder. He was harder on the grade than I was. I was pleased. Price was very fair. Service and communication was outstanding.

I have asked him for more but he admitted that finding what I want is not going to be easy.

That is finding pedigreed slabbed coins for under $25.00 each. Where did they all go? He did say that I am one of his less demanding customers. image

Yeah, I think that's what thye were planning to do, but the saw blade would have made dust of the whole coin (the "kerf" was too thick), so they just sliced it vertically from 12 O'Clock to 6 O'Clock - now if they each drill a hole in their respective halves, they'll be secret friends for life! image
