Probably a bit of both. Franklins are one area of the hobby that is not in a boom. I picked up a 1948 MS65FBL and a 1950 MS65FBL in the last heritage auction for prices I was happy with.

    Yes, Frankies are down.

My read is that they got hot for awhile with people looking for FBLs. Submissions and pops went up. Prices softened, demand. softened. That's where we are for the moment.

Agree with Dpoole on the current state of the Franklin market. I bought the 58-D Franklin out of the that sale, a wild toned piece, and a 67 that may go FBL, for $600. Nobody else bid on it.

I viewed your 3 pieces you mentioned, and am sending you a PM.
Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.
