1946-S BTW...Proof Like..Worth Submitting..???

Under the toning is a deep proof like, and so
far only 10 have been certified by NGC.
Is it worth certifing?

I think it is but I would send it to pcgs and hope for a 66, if it was in original packaging I would sell it as is(that's why I asked)--------BigE

IMO it's worth submitting. It's a pretty coin.

Whether it would be financially worth your while is another matter entirely. It probably wouldn't be what most would consider a major "score." But, it's got nice toning, and if it does get the PL designation it's unusual for the issue.

A 66, BigE? I see a few too many nicks on the portrait to be comfortable wishing for that grade.

I can't see the proof like characterisitcs. If they are there you might want to try and go for it. It looks pretty low grade though so even with a PL it might not be worth much. The toning looks neat though. That is a coin I'd really want to see in hand.

There is no die stria on the cheek because of the strike, cheek is clean but there are some bumps on the rest of the coin---BigE
