He only states the blatantly obvious, and he's about 5 seconds behind what's happening.

Basketball...Bill Walton...I refuse to watch a game he is announcing and I want to slap the person who taught him to speak!
NHL Is not real sport and I could care less!
Yeah, I've seen like 2 games with him and he is a fool, plain and simply put
My votes for the worst have to be the entire ESPN sunday night crew. They are bad, they argue, they are just stupid (and Joe Theismann is horrific).
Chris Collinsworth gets a very, very close second place vote. His obvious jealousy of the players today and the money they make is painfully obvious, too.
Thanks,

If you're gonna post who ya hate, ya gotta tell us why. I think he's pretty good.
HOckey - Bob Cole
Hockey set! Always looking to buy, trade or upgrade 1966 Topps to 1969 OPC.
Joe Morgan is up there, but far far behind Gray. Sorry Scottie, can't tell you why, just don't like him. And he was one of my favorite players as a kid.
Bill Walton is annoying, Dick Vitale is too. Rick Monday is just boring. Bob Uecker seemed pretty out of it the last few times I heard him.

Agree whole heartedly on Joe Morgan. Loved him as a player, but he is a snooze fest listening to his announcing.:
I wish someone would lure Joe Buck out of St. Louis! I can't stand to even watch/listen to him sell automobiles, restaurants, etc. His father, Jack Buck, was a class act and we miss him in St. Louis.
I see a lot of people don't like Tim McCarver but I actually don't mind him.

Same on Walton IMO - yes he is "out there", but I find him entertaining. We all know half the stuff he says is nonsense, but that's his gig. You are supposed to laugh at him sometimes.
Morgan is also just being the "color guy" to a drone - and he is fortunate that his lead man is Jon Miller. I think they work well together. Morgan is knowledgeable - only his style stinks.
Jim Gray is a clown. But he is not an "announcer." He is a reporter.
Having spent many years in NY, I agree that John Sterling is an annoyance. I can't figure out why he is "the voice" of anything. Frank Messer was also a blubbermouth in NY I could never figure.
End of rant. Regards.
