    RARCOA

    Harlan J Berk

    Larry Whitlow

    - are just a few. There are many good dealers in Illinois - not all of them are online.

In the Chicago area, Larry Whitlow is excellent for high grade, certified coinage. Harlan Berk is more of an old time dealer in the Loop who deals in just about everything. They are worth a stop. There's also a shop in McHenry called Old World Rarities that is too far from where I live, but still I make the journey there once in a while.

The Old World shop is a joy to visit. They have a broad selection of all types of U.S. coins. They have currency, certified and raw, gold, errors, you name it. To top it all off, there's a bid board too. Now, that's what I call a coin shop!

Edited to add: Oops, I just saw the other thread where these were mentioned.

As mentioned in the Chicagoland thread, I agree that its worth a trip to Old World.
