1999-2008 Silver Proof Sets

What is everyones opinion on the future value to these Silver Proof sets with the state Quarters. Does anyone think any of the 2004-2008 years have the same potential as 1999 Set?

Nope. It's too late. Everyone caught on. They may go up some but nothing compared to the 1999. The only way that could happen is if the mint cut production short.

If we knew the answer to that question we wouldn't be here. We would either be buying or selling them non stop.

How high is gold going? No one really knows. Same with thee 1999 silver proof sets.

I think the 99 is peaked,the 01 may be a different story !

The regular proof sets aren't doing so bad either. The 99 sells for about $60, the 2001 for about $70 ,and the 2004 is going up too. Same with the mint sets.

I feel strongly that the 2004 will go up alot! The introduction of the 5 Quarter Silver Proof set kept the numbers down and 2004 is the only way to get the Silver Kennedy half. So between folks that want to collect whole sets or the halves and the smaller mintage of the complete sets I think the 2004s will do very well.
