The problem I see with the Yankees trying to void Giambi's contract is....

if they allow Sheffield to stay because he is performing well isn't that a double standard? I am no lawyer but I would think a good lawyer would see right through this.
If Giambi was a man he wouldn't go after the money if the Yankees void his contract.
I grew to like Giambi but I was ticked off the Yankees got rid of Tino to begin with. That was the start of their chemistry contamination.

In addition, if they did, the player's union would jump all over that will lawsuits galore.
Besides. Giambi cannot play anymore. He is finished. Burned out. Broken.

If they do go after Sheffield (which would really be illogical) then I hope over half the MLB players receive the same consequence no matter how little or a lot they tried banned substances, even if for a week.

<< <i>The Sheffield case is different. He was not actively using Steroids... >>
funny!
this witch hunt is only designed to
get Bonds (because they all hate him)
and no one else.
A good example is that Sheffield and Bonds said the same thing
(that whatever they used, FROM THE SAME TRAINER, they were
told and believed it was non-steroidal, legal substances)
and people say "well, Bonds is lying, but poor Sheffield is innocent".
Proof that it is a conspiracy just to bring down One man.
