I'm not linking to it for rather obvious reasons. Check it out though. Interesting read.

The POWER SELLER mouse thing SUCKS!!!

What's wrong with his description ? Its a valid opinion held by many. grading takes hell a lot of time at PCGS....

When a cutomer is very happy they will tell about 5-7 people.
When a customer has a bad experience they will tell EVERYONE!

Edited to add: Thanks BOOM, after blowing it up I see that's his ID so I guess it is his copyright.

BTW: I am NOT a coin dealer, nor aswsociated with PCGS in any way.
<< <i>about how they no longer email us when our packages are received and how this is viewed as yet another way of getting out of "Guarantees" >>
It has nothing to do with getting out of guarantees. Geez, you people see a conspiracy around every corner. It's a technical glitch in their system that has been sporadic and ongoing since the day they implemented the notifications.

Mr P was upset with the seller, but as I read the thread today I saw it in a whole different light. It is PCGS that graded and certified these as MS 69. They obviously were not this way when they were slabbed!
Where, then, does the real blame, IF ANY, fall? People!! WE are talking about silver. Is it really anyone's fault?. If you cannot keep pristine pieces of 99.9% pure silver, spotless, encapsulated in the top TPG company's slab, then it tells me that it's utterly impossible.
99.9% PURE silver in slabs and they still spotted! I think that fact just answered a lot of questions regarding ultra-grade WHITE silver coinage! Regarding the series I collect, I can now see why most 67 and higher SILVER is toned to some degree or another.
Take for example.... If TODAY, the first PCGS 67 1955-D Washington Quarter was made do you have any idea what it would be worth, given the huge difference in premium between 65 and 66? OK...and let's just say that it's White. If what happened to these Eagles happened to that Pop 1 Zillion dollar coin, I'd say there would be a slight problem, now wouldn't there be?
<< <i>I'm a "professional" full time dealer and still, 832 of these came back to me in MS-68.
This goes to prove that all the coins I submit to PCGS do not come back a 69.
People ask how could this happen to me being a full time professional coin dealer? >>
Personally... I'm thinking "Full-Time Crappy Grader Dealer." Some people on here are really good at picking out the 69s... they know what PCGS looks for... apparently he hasn't figured out what they are looking for yet... and he probally just sends in bulk coins and doesn't even check them first, which is why he gets the 68s...

I haven't seen him post in quite awhile (not since a few pissing matches he had with people over in the registry forum)
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I don't think there is a significant difference..... I think that's why some people refer to getting a 70 as "hitting the lottery"....
