<< <i>HI Doug, How long is an economy submission? I'm about a month in right now....... Thanks.....
Paul >>
Well, that's really a fun question to ask... Could be two months, could be six months, you never know
Economy at ANACS is exactly that, economy. To me, it's always worth the extra $3 a coin (When doing 5 coins or more) to just go ahead and get the 5-day express service and know I'll get an approximate two calendar week total turnaround time.
I sent in an Economy submission to them and it came back in 10 weeks. That was a little long for me. While their prices are better, there services doesn't cut it for me. Especially since they grade high. I think the only thing I'll submit to them is gold, for certification.

As I said, don't send economy if you're worried about time at all, the price difference between express and economy is so little that it really factors that out as a 'service' issue, at least in my eyes. Also, I'm curious as to what makes you say that they grade high, in all my experiences with ANACS, if anything, they grade a bit too conservatively at times, especially on modern pieces.
Not really 5 days is 5 days besides they answer the phone and do return phone calls. Heck I even know some of their names, and their nice to you. I agree it would raise the cost. If submitting more then 5 coins pay the extra and go 5 days.
I'd would prefer they added another tier of service. I don't need the coins graded in 5 days, but I also don't want to wait 2 months. There should be something in between.

Eh, there's a three dollar difference between their economy and express service price - What should they do, put one in there that costs $1.50 more that takes a month?

Wow !! I had no idea that it could be that kind of time frame !! Most certainly, in the future (if there is one, depending on my agreement with the grades) I'll pay the extra 3 bucks or whatever..... Thank you......
The only trouble with ANACS is they are in Dublin OH (Irish) that county was so strong Bush it was a shame how could they. Kerry being Irish Catholic. But I'm a Steller Fan also
Yeah, boycott the grading service because their State voted for Bush? hello! Have you seen the map of the US by county who voted for Bush? You won't be able to go to too many places.
Your right I am in trouble PCGS is in good old Blue Califorinia and then there is NGC let see Jeb back yard now what do I do. Looks like I'll have to stay raw. Red, Blue we have to get that out of the way and get rid of the outdated Electoral College and go back on the Silver standard. Can we do that????????

But I'll still submit coins I'm not a sore loser. >>
I hate to burst your bubble, but John Kerry is as Irish as I am and I'm full Italian. Hanoi John is a Catholic but his ethnicity is of French/Austrian-Jewish descent. "Kerry" is derived from "Kohn". It doesn't mean a thing to me, but in predominantly Irish Boston, Kerry never volunteered that he wasn't Irish until it was made public. But I'm a Patriots fan.
Now back on topic...
I like ANACS and would like to see internet tracking too. Does NGC have online order tracking? You'd think they would since they are a bigger company.

It can also be either a $5.00 or $8.00 difference between the two, depending on the amount of coins.
Thanks!
