New Upgrade for Barber Half Set

MFHMFH Posts: 11,720 ✭✭✭✭
A few months ago I was able to pick up a really nice raw AU (55-58) 1913-S, however a better example came along on an EBay auction. I just had to have it. Had to pay MS 60 money for it, but I thought it was well worth it.

As I don't have the expertise to link images from another site to these Forums, maybe someone else could offer some assistance: Ebay # 3943339730.

This addition seems a fitting way of posting my 1,000th post.

    Mike,

Nice buy on the 13-S half. Now get the 13-S quarter in 55-58. And be sure to learn how to post images, so I can call on you for help

    Cameron and Sonof^gunk...

Thanks for posting the link and photos.

I had posted another thank you however, Sonof^gunk's name has a "bad" word imbedded and wasn't able to show my appreciation.

Send me a PM with your birth year and I'll let you know why, basically because this was my 1,000th Post.

    Dale,

I bought a 1913-S quarter a few years ago from DLRC in an ICG holder. AU 58. image

I saw that coin on ebay too and was tempted to toss in a bid near MS60 money on it. But I figured another forum member would be eyeing it. Good catch. It looked like a very impressive piece and possibly worth a MS61 grade today.
