Could someone post a picture of a lustrous coin taken both with a SLR digital camera vs. a scanner?

Thanks!

  • Geez Cameron, Don't you have anything better to do than search old threads to "out" someone ???

Why not just answer the question if you can, or add your comment if you have the knowledge in the subject ?

Constantly negatively trying to prove someone is "this or that" gets kinda old after a while dude.

I think it's pretty obvious what Cameron was trying to point out to people, and it wasn't the fact that cary1952 has a camera and scanner.
  • I am not negative and not trying to "out" someone but this is interesting.

BTW the threads are all from this morning and I did not do any searching.

  • Ok, so i guess we need to clear our questions and comments thru Cameron before we post to make sure they are acceptable ?

Geez, gimmie a break. So what if someone has posted several questions about cameras and scanners. Answer the questions if you can and move on.

Ok Doug, Fill me in on what was so obvious. I must be stupid.................

Ok, do that yourself and let this die. I figure if someone has both things (camera and a scanner) why ask? They can get pictures using both types. Thats all. I am moving on.

    Mr. Sheriff,

Well gee, maybe they would like to see what type of results others get with both devices? Hmmmmmm, interesting concept. image

Besides, why does it bother you sooooo much that a person asks this type of question?

At least a few members decided to actually post pics like the thread author asked for. If i had a good scanner i would have contributed as well.

Sorry but your constant 'digs' on the forums get a little old after a while. Plus, i haven't had my Coffee yet image

  • Jom, that's quite a difference on the Buffs!! I'm sure it would make a big difference if you were selling the coins online as well!!
