  • Copper or zinc?

About $8-10 I would say since it is slabbed.

By weight, the copper cent should weigh about 3.1 grams versus 2.5 grams for a zinc. Since the coin is entombed this may not be practical. Sometimes on a zinc off-center the plating will tear at the edge of the strike and show signs of the zinc core.

I agree with Cameron's value estimate, maybe a little higher. For some reason raw undated off-center cents have been performing very strongly on eBay lately, what used to be $1 coins are now regularly selling for $3-$5 apiece.
