Who's attending the FUN show in January?

I'm hoping to attend, but I'm not sure at this point. Curious to see who's all going to be there. Might be cool to get a big group to go out for dinner and drinks and coin talk!

I have been making arrangements and plans and it looks like the wife wants to go visit a HS friend of hers that is an hour away from the FUN show.
So, we will go, likely arriving in Florida on "Dealer setup day", and I will drive the hour+ to the show in a rental car Fri-Sat (Since I am not a dealer and can't get in early).

Hopefully, the market won't be so "nuclear" ... I want to see what the prices are on nice 1955DDO lincoln, 1914-D, 1968 PCGS slabbed modern "crap", a keydate IHC or two, etc....basically, I would like to spend a few thou and get at least 1 keydate.

I did sign up for the registry luncheon......do they just assign seats or can I ask for the forum babes table and then hope?

A few people have sent me messages asking what happened to me. It was a vacation from hell.

Hertz screwed up my car reservation. I had screaming kids near me on both flights (incoming/outgoing). I lost my cell phone at Walt Disney World. Since I lost my cell phone, I didn't get the message of where the gang was going to eat on Saturday so I had a birthday dinner by myself instead of with the gang. There was a bunch of people who said that wanted to meet for drinks on Thursday night. No one showed up. I couldn't make a long distance phone call from my hotel without dishing out $20 cash first to the hotel phone nazis. Yes they did have my credit card number. After 2 weeks after I got home, I figured my phone was gone so I bought a new cell phone. The Walt Disney people found my phone and it arrived in the mail two days after I bought the new one.
That's just the low-lights. Other minor things happened but these are the ones that really sucked.

This will be the second year in a row for me. I had a great time at last years show. The antics between Stewart and David Schweitz alone was worth the flight!

I am going, made Flight arrangements this weekend.

This will be my first FUN show. I have never been able to attend prior, due to our corporate meeting being the same week in the opposite direction. This time it appears to be okay, but if they change it for whatever reason, thier is going to be one less attendee to the corporate meeting that is.

But I wil only be at FUN for Wed, Thur, and all day Friday.

Well the bottom line is that I just learned that I will be able to go to the show, which I am very happy about. It won't be a show for me though if I can't meet and great a bunch of foruum members so if you are going and you haven't posted yet please posted it somewhere.

If theire are any pre-planed events where folks are hooking up that would be cool too. If you don't like me and don't want to let me know about any secret forum gathering's...that's cool also :applause:

By the way I am planning to bring my toners so folks will be able to see them up close and personal :headbang:
