That's one sign, but not the major one on this coin. The coin doctor is trying to imitate bag toning. On real bag toned coins, the demarcation line betwee the toned and untoned areas of the coin is fluid, by that I mean the line does not zigzag. The line on this coin zigzags several times, making it obvious.
I thought it looked good as well and I am not totally convinced it isn't NT....regardless I am trying to win it so I can see it up close and personal. Since I have been buying up toned morgans in bunches lately, it's important that I be able to tell the difference. If I don't win it no biggie, but it's worth a shot.
If that doesn't work....I'll crack it and sell it for a fortune
I don't and I ain't going to find out the way the bidding is going. I thought it was worth $20 just to learn from, but it's at $31 now.......I could get an NT for that so....I'll pass

Toned "zig zag" on both sides doesn't make a very good case for its being bag toned either.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Some people have no scruples. Or, they know more than the experts at ANACS.
