Happy Thanksgiving to all....

All of us here on the forum, who are fortunate enough to partake in this wonderful hobby, have much to be thankful for. When many people are concerned with just having a roof over their heads, or food on the table....let's take a moment to reflect on how good we have it.

Well said Bustman ... it is indeed easy to be thankful and grateful.

This morning I took my three children to breakfast and enjoyed their company. We talked about what we are thankful for ... and the list gathered became long. We are healthy, happy and together ... in the same town, seeing each other regularly, roof over our heads, food on the table.

Since we've been home we've talked to most of my family on the phone (still waiting to catch my brother and his family - we're all about 1,000 miles apart). No pressure to make the call, just pick up the phone and talk until we're done talking.

There may be a lot of things we can want for, but there is nothing we need for ... and in that, life is very good.

Best Regards to you and yours this Thanksgiving.

“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”

Here in Alaska it is 32 degrees with a fresh dusting of snow. A warm home, good health, and the means to enjoy the luxury of a hobby such as that participated in here are certainly up there on the list.

    Happy Thanksgiving.
