1763 Dansk America

Has anyone seen a 1763 Dansk America coin XII Skilling ???
What kind of coins is that and what could it be worth ?

    That's the former Danish West Indies, now US Virgin Islands. Could be worth anywhere north of twenty bucks, depending on quality. A superb gem would be very rare and would probably sell at $1500-2000. BTW, DWI makes an interesting side tour and great value for a US collector.

    BTW, 1765 is a slightly better date than the 1763.

    There is a crown and 3 lions on the backside.

    Do you have any information about a 1816 Dansk America X Skilling ?

    They probably start at about ten bucks and are not as difficult to find in mint state grades.
