Nice picture. I think it is the right size for viewing on a computer screen. I like to see most of the coin as a whole like that, without scrolling side to side and up and down. I'm dialup and the image loaded very fast. Some photo's don't even load for me because of size.

Great camera C.D. . I shoot with the Nikon coolpix 4200. I love it.

The 5200 is not an SLR.

I was using a Sony Mavica FD-88 before...one third the resolution.

The light looks fine on my monitor and in print. Are you sure yours are calibrated correctly?

Your last photos are very nice! The first ones, you probally overlite the coin, and all it did was wash the coin out... these last pics, show the luster, that's more the type of pic you're going for

Better contrast on the second set, esp the 43.

Nice pics! I like the second set the best, however I think that the 40-D would look even better at -1/3 stop. The exposure on the second image of the 43-D is perfect. The luster of the coin is nicely portrayed as well.
