Petition to get eBay to require Copy in the title

eBay's rules for selling coin copies do not required sellers to put Copy in the title. I believe this should be required.

If you agree please sign the petition I have setup at Petitions Online. The more signatures the better.

I would post it on my school forum, but no one there collects coins and/or would care. The only petition I ever got anybody at school to sign was one to make lunch optional.

Excellent turnout so far.

I only started it an hour ago and already there are 40 signatures. I have sent the link to Coinworld, Numismatic News and World Coin News. Let's see how many we get after a couple of weeks.

Done. #47 I think that would be a great idea. If this is appoved, then the next step would be a petition to add to the title of coins that aren't really coins a statement that says "No numismatic value" or something to that effect.

I think ebay will pay attention after a certain point. Many of us are actually ebay buyers/sellers. That's money to them. They'll listen when money gets together and agrees on something needing to be changed.

I'm gonna sign it. Have a question first. Which option is best for this use?
I....know.....I don't want "Public" where anyone can get my email.

But should it be signed privately or available to petition author? Doesn't the petition author NEED to have it available to him in order to make it have any power?

I will also ....hope....(but not bet on) that eBay will have more regard for its legitimate users than the scammers.

My 2 bits is that the comments should also include your ebay user name so they can see the money.
