This same seller has been on the forum more than once. Take a look at their feedback.

  • Someone once said: No one every went broke catering to America's stupidity (or greed, or something similar) Figuring the silver, everyon'e going to get about $6+/- worth of coins - whether this guy ever throws in any of the alleged rare stuff is doubtful, or if he does it'll probably go to someone he knows in exchange for one of those "testimonials" - Cost with shipping is gonna be about $27 - So if he sells all this stuff, he's gonna get 500 x $20 = $10,000 profit off of about $3000 worth of junk coins (again +/-) but not a whole lot different than the crap on HSN or in the weekly magazines - the only upside for the buyer is they'll only loose $20 for 1 of the 1/2 lb bags of mostly common wheat pennies - Ahhh the elusive payoff at the gambling tables image

Not that I agree but funny feedback to note: "Marsha....Marsha....A +++ Ebayer"

Yup. I once bought a roll of unsearched wheat cents that were guaranteed to all be dated in the 1920's. Maybe they just look at the first 3 numbers in the date, but never look at the last digit as they roll the coins.

I believe it was Henry Ford who said "No one ever went broke underestimating American's stupidity.".

You may well be right and I messed it up anyway. It's "...the stupidity of the American public."

    Here is the correct quote:

"No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
    -- Henry Mencken

I'm gonna have to brush up on my quotes if I expect to get on Jeopardy image

Mencken was a thinker ahead of his time. Here's another of his quotes:

As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.
