Lincol Cent Fans - 2 Just Back From PCGS - Guess the grades

Just got these back from PCGS. First two pics are of coin "A", second two are of coin "B." I know it's tough to grade from a pic, but I still would be interested in your opinion.

I will post actual grades after several of your guesses.

Thanks! Mike

    OK, I'll take a guess: first one's 63RD, second one is 65RD

    A: coin MS61RD
    B: coin MS63RD..................
  • Sorry about the size of the pics - I just got back from the testing forum and now I know how to size them correctly. Pics this large magnify ANY mark and make the coin look worse than it really is. I guarantee you these two look much better in-hand!

For example, the "scratches" on Lincoln's forehead in the first pick are almost impossible to see under 10x, though the die crack just above them is evident.

These were two of four 54-S's that I submitted from the same roll. Three came back 66RD and one came back 64RD. Coin A, above, is the 64RD and coin B is one of the 66RD's. I was hoping that one (or more) of the three nicest would have made 67. All three compare favorably with other 67's I have, though those are earlier dates (late thirties).

    Thanks for playing!!
