Tough to tell from the pic's. I'm leaning towards a nice, lustrous gem (ms/65?) example. I could never tell if there's a hint of rub to bring it to au/58, from the pic's.

Looks to be a nice coin.

Yep, tough to grade from pictures.

I'd say MS-64, mostly because there is spot above the "R" in "PATRIOT." It's in a dull part of the photo, but hard to think of a coin getting a higher grade that with a spot like that on it.

I just bought it for 64 money. Nice strike which holds back most Lexingtons. I think it will 65. Can't be sure but its a nice jump from 140 to 450 so its worth a try.

The coin has already been dipped, and if the spot I pointed out really shows, there's no use going for an upgrade. Also check the corner of the bellfry. If there is any sign of rub, it won't get promoted either.

There is price gap for these between MS-64 and 65, and the services know it. That's why it hard to get them to make the jump.

I didn't see that spot Bill Jones mentioned, but it does look to have a spot in the area he mentioned. Hidden rather conveniently in the shadows.
