"New coin" pics-edited- jumped 3 grades-1942 Jefferson Proof to share

Just received today and the coin looks pretty nice. It is graded PF62 and rightfully so. It has some ugly yellow staining on it, but check out the cameo.

Here is the coin, now in an Ngc 65 holder;

good coin nice eye appeal a one year type coin and the only nickel issued by the federal govt with silver in it and the only proof silver war nickel the only p mint nickel with the p above the dome and the first coin ever from the philly mint to have the p mintmark on the coin

a fantastic one year type coin from the 40's and proof to boot

a great underappreciated value coin to me

I sent the coin to Ncs to see if they could get the ugly stuff off the coin. They did and it went into Ngc and came back graded as a 65! Nice jump, not a big difference in price, but the coin looks a lot nicer and the cameo is even more evident. I would have thought it may have garnered a * designation. I will post pics when I get a chance.

Great upgrade! Another ANACS undergraded coin. There is a trend here.

Great upgrade! I had commented just recently here that I think ANACS
grades proof Jeffersons fairly, if not conservatively.

Will look forward to seeing your "new" coin!

Nice coin and upgrade! Insofar as the CAM goes, a pre-50 Jeff proof has to walk on water to get that designation. It can't be close, it has to be ALL there...
