Another Proof Indian cent.

This one works with the new way of showing mirrors like one the I had posted previously. The method only works with coins that are slightly crooked in the slab so the coin pics up the reflection before the slab does. It also works better with NGC slabs where the coin is farther away from the fronthof the slab. Only works from certain angles as dictated by the angle that coin is skewed.

RB yes, but looks 64? You sure have nice Indian proof coins though.

Mark - you should send all your NGC proofs in for reholdering, and request CROOKED INSERTIONS on the invoice! Nice coin.

Those bubbles/pits close to the light, which your sensitive camera really picks up, gives you an idea of how bad the quality of their plastic is image

    Very nice Mark.

Lee they look better IMO then most of the others you have shown, I really cannot comment to strongly on the 59, I have been focusing more on the Bronze IHC's, but I do like it, though I would not bid on this coin just because I'm a bit to conservative anymore. The 83, looks recolored to me.

Getting decent photos of Proof Indians in holders can be difficult. Having them tilted in the holders helps if you want to show the mirror contrast. I've found that turning off my spot lighting, and using the ambient lighting (florescent) or reflecting lighting off the walls helps. With digital cameras, sometimes less light is better.

Lee, if those images are from a certian Ebay seller also Yahoo seller in Massachusetts, I would stay away from them. If he also calls them collector coins in his ad its the same guy and gal. I have found his coins to be recolored and his bust halves whizzed. He sells a lot of coins to folks who really don't know the difference.
