After seeing Ken's two new Kennedy halves, it is time for a cameo half picture post.

Just checked out Ken's thread on two new cameo Kennedy halves he picked up. The coins are stunning. For all forum members who have the ability to post pictures a competition is in order for this Saturday morning.
Please post pictures of your cameo half dollars. The winner can be decided by posts to this thread. The winner gets no prize other than the satisfaction of being declared the winner.

This one is pretty low grade due to hairlines. But it is cameo.

(Actually, just wanted to see if I could photograph a cameo. Coin looks alot nicer NOT under magnification. It's in an NGC PF67CAM holder.)

So far we have pictures of cameo Kennedies, cameo Franklins, a cameo Barber and a cameo Seated Liberty half. We are missing a picture of a cameo Walker [I know pictures of a cameo Walker (i.e. the PCGS 1938 CAM) are out there in cyberspace and that someone can track one down and post it]. Maybe, just maybe we might even get a picture of a cameo half that predates the Seated Liberty series.
Wouldn't it be great to have in a half dollar type set one of each of the halves pictured so far?
Keep the pictures coming folks and we can enjoy a virtual cameo half collection.
By the Way, She's a PCGS PR-70 DCAM
Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies.
Many pictures have been posted. We are still missing a picture of a cameo Walker.
After the end of one hour from now, please post your votes on who you think posted the winning picture. Whoever receives the most vote by today at 8
Keep those pictures coming. SanctionII.
I like all of the halves that were pictured [I am bummed that we did not get a cameo proof walker picture].
However, I have to vote for Smittys cameo barber half. You just do not see very many of those and when you do, they certainly get my attention.
I think there are only 1 or 2 KNOWN Cameo Walkers of all years !
By the way, when I finally get a digital camera and learn how to use it, I am going to take a picture of my 1957 cameo proof cent for you to look at. It is raw and it looks nice to me, however I have no clue what it would slab at at a TPG. SanctionII.

A box full of what???
My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

I love my Barber...

I had fun with this thread and enjoyed looking at the pics. Thanks all who participated and thanks to Ken for showing his two new JFK halves that got me going on posting this thread. SanctionII.
Glad to hear you're visiting the world the rest of us live in!!
