Jeez, I saw a Birch cent last night on Ebay, and didn't recognize it til i was looking at the Smithsonian coins today,
Now, I can't remember where i saw the thing, but been looking all over trying to find it, it was in a 3 or 4 coin lot and had a closeup pic. the last bid i saw on it was like $4.70 I think it must have ended, but some lucky bidder probably has no idea what it is . "That's how it goes, First your money, Then your clothes". I'm screaming inside every dirty word i know...................

Wasn't listed as a Birch cent, it was in a lot of 3 coins, I was looking thru Exonumia and just happened to look at it, and almost bid and thot, Nah, and went on looking at other junk. Didn't realize it til i saw one on the Smithsonion coin site. Then it came back to me like a swift backhand my grandmother used to deliver.
