Boy, it's been a while since we've seen a new folkartnut offering.

Auction claims the retail value of 500 PCGS 69DCAM AGEs is $1,250,000, but is selling them for $550K. Wouldn't $550K be close to full retail?

If you have the complete set of all those different coins signed by all those famous people you might have something worth a lot of $$ one day.
(can't believe i just said that)
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

I can't believe you said it either, Dog! I could never figure out who these "autographed coins" appeal to.

Doesn't seem likely that coin collectors would pay significantly extra for an autograph that has no connection to the coin, and autograph collectors probably won't want to pay significantly extra if they can get just the autograph for much less.

Sure, there will probably be some premium based on the limited number made, but I sure don't see these turning into big money.

Naw, they're *easy* to sell...at face value. I'll buy 'em all for *double* face value. image
  • That sure looks like a Pres. "Gerald Ford" signature to me.
I don't see any Trump signature slab there.

Wonder what The Donald charged to sign them. If he charged $100 a coin and signed 100 coins that's $10,000. Not bad for less then an hours work.

Well I thought my Presidental set of tokens that Shell gave out in the 70 would be valuable. I thought my State spoons made by the Franklin Mint would be valuable. I thought my MS70 ICG state quarters I bought on Coin Vault last week would skyrocket. I thought the black velvet Elvis paintings I bought at the fleamarket last were the key to my retirement. I thought the Bird Series of silver rounds were a steal @ $99 each. Only 10 easy payments of $199.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

I'm sorry but these "signature series" are a bunch of BS. Totally pathetic.

  • I know Trump's rich, but I don't think he is a billionaire. Does anybody know?

Nobody's signature is worth that much unless it's on the "payer's" signature line of a check. With that I have a true hand signed picture of Muhammed Ali with a letter that came with it. I'll consider letting it go for $500,000. Any takers!?image
