It looks more like the real thing than some of the others do in that it isn't so gaudy and showy!! Hard to believe that two coins struck from the same dies and which came from the same batch of planchets which came from the same lot of silver and were stored in the same bag could look so different.
This image is more believable than some of the others I've seen. But I will still hold my ground regarding buying a coin like this raw sight unseen. If you have the opportunity to actually look at the coin and make an informed decision fine, but buying a coin like this at a huge premium sight unseen is numismatically foolish in my opinion.
Eric, thankfully I was afforded the chance to view in person before buying. I do not disagree with all you are saying. I just think there sare ways to go about it with out losing out on such a nice coin.
