Cameo 3CN

You all had such nice things to say about my first large cent that I posted last week so I thought I would show off my first 3CN. I got it at about the same time. This one is in a PCGS holder and graded PR65CAM. I don't think I would want to collect these as a series because they are a bit on the small size for my taste. However, I think it's kind of neat to have at least one of just about everything (within reason and affordability, of course.) The scratch on the reverse is on the plastic holder, not the coin itself.

And I am like you I would like to have one of every type coin.
except the type I am really intrested in getting evry year/mm/Circ and proof.
I think it's a great series myself, for Cameos. Particularly the obv is a classic, clean design that just looks terrific with a cam contrast between that portrait and the fields. Really looks like one of those cameo brooches your grandmother used to wear at the throat! Nice grade, good year, and nice clean specimen. I like it! Congrats!
That's a nice 1880 as well, Brian. I like that nice, soft tone on the portrait the proofs get in the later years.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
a fantastic type coin everyone should have if you are a collector it should be required by law!!
and the reverse is the only usa coin i think that has no letters on it just the numerial three
