For those of you who want to be dealers, you need to be able to identify coins which come your way. Whether they are U.S. or foreign, you will encounter them. So, get out your Krause and see if you can identify this by Country, date and Krause Number.

  • It's a Morrocan 1 Padudah minted in 1907 at Omar the Tent Maker's Mint. Looks to be in AU condition, however I would watch for AT due to camel spit.

    According to Krause SCWC 2005:
    Millieme - Used by Egypt and Libya

    Millim - Sudan & Tunisia.

    You don't have to know how to identify world coins but it helps. I sometimes just say thats not my sspecialty and refer them to someone who does world coins.
