Here's another of Marc's special coins:

Marc was given this dollar by his parents when he graduated from college - 31 years ago. He built an unc date set around the coin. I had to pry it out of his fingers....

What in tarnation? Even Marc's folks knew what the "right" coins were? They should have been buying coins for me in 1973!
All I got for H.S. graduation 32 years ago was a discus. Still have it.
But it's not worth what TDN's 1864 is worth!

Very attractive coin with beautiful lustre! One can help but wonder however if Ms. Liberty has a stiff neck after sitting in that seemingly uncomfortable position for 140 years.
