Just got this coin in the mail yesterday and I had to share. Very lustrous, clean surfaces, and a reasonable strike for the year. I got it for my type set, but a coin like this makes me want to tackle the series.

Before you consider tackling the series, take a look at the prices for the 28-P and 34-S. That's a super coin, but looks AU to me.

Yeah, I've seen the prices for the 28 and 34-S ... pricey, and one of the big reasons I haven't tackled the set yet. This coin is in a PCGS MS-64 holder, and that's probably the grade I'd go for if I did go for the whole series.

Nice coin !! This one will spoil you and the series is much tougher than most give credit for......even in 64 it could
take some time to find nice, eye appealing coins that have the strike, luster, and surfaces without the "Peace Dollar"
problems.....

Peace Dollars are magnets for bag marks. Plus most of the S-mints are tough to find with a nice strike. With all the old collections showing up now at the various auction houses, etc. even with the higher prices now's a good time to be selective and pick off some of the harder dates. When they're true high-end 64's, Peace Dollars are really neat coins and a comparitively short set to match up in terms of "look". Nice start with the 1921!
