  • Yah.... I did do around $175 worth of profit. I am also interested to see how other peoples first shows have gone.

To me what I have seen.... have as much as you can at the shows. Remember it takes money to make money.

I reccomend that people serious about going into it to put in as much money as they can. Look for the deals and start building a database of people to buy from. Granted I have just begun myself but I am seeing how the "game" is played and learning every step along the way. I would be more then happy to talk to anyone about how its going.

Just remember.... if you want to make it as a dealer.... you can!.... All it takes it patience. You can't expect to be making millions overnight. Go in with a positive attitude and noting can stop you. No matter what goes wrong stay in there and keep fighting. Everybody runs into speedbumps and trust me (from expierence) the more you believe in yourself the easier it will become. I have been buying coins all night now (from CU, Ebay, etc.) and talking to some of the contacts I have made in the last few months and am even going to be registering for another show in December tomorrow. You can make it.... just keep thinking positive. When you wont let anything stop you.... you will succeed.

    Hope This Is Bennificial.

  • I made about $150. I sold only slabbed stuff at a local show a few years back.

Best advice I ever got from my mentor: "Preview, then post. Correct spelling is a must."

  • We would have to go look back on our records, but if I recall correctly, we did alright. Being the newbie at the show meant that everyone wanted to see what new pieces were on the bourse floor.

Remember, you make your money when you buy the coins. image
  • Our records show it was a bad show. 234 usable flips that we managed to get for free and only 1,567 wheat cents sold netting us 1,333 coins withoout flipsimage
